Sydney Harbour Bridge Live Cam

Sydney Harbour opens north from this webcam towards the Harbour Bridge, in New South Wales, Australia. The arch carries coloured lighting after dark, and the ferries and the lit slope of the North Shore sit behind it.

The bridge spans Port Jackson between the central business district and the northern suburbs, carrying eight road lanes, two rail tracks and a footway and cycleway. It has been the fixed point of the harbour since 1932, and the ferry routes below it run all day between Circular Quay and the north side.

The lighting scheme changes for events through the year, and on New Year's Eve the fireworks are launched from the arch itself. Traffic on the deck and the wash of the ferries keep the frame moving even late at night.
