Bridge Street is the main street of the Bridge Street Historic District, a seven-acre area of Italianate buildings added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. The district adjoins the historic Plaza and includes the bridge over the Gallinas River, which divides old West Las Vegas from the newer part of town.
