Kittens, Purrfect Pals Live Cam

A litter of foster kittens has the run of a room at a cat sanctuary near Arlington, in Washington state. The camera covers the floor, the climbing frames and the beds.

Kittens are handled here through the weeks that matter. The window in which a cat learns that people are safe closes at about seven weeks old, and the rooms are arranged so that volunteers can be in them constantly while it is open.

The shelter is a no-kill sanctuary and takes cats that other places will not, including elderly animals and those with chronic illness. The kitten rooms are the part people watch.
