Aberaeron Harbour, Ceredigion Live Cam

This camera overlooks the inner harbour at Aberaeron on the Ceredigion coast, with a row of colourful houses along the far quay. Yachts stand on the concrete slipway in the foreground, and small boats lie beyond on the water or the mud.

Aberaeron is a seaside town on Cardigan Bay between Aberystwyth and Cardigan. The present town was planned from 1805 around a purpose-built harbour, which later became a small half-tide harbour for leisure craft. Regency-style buildings around Alban Square and painted houses beside the water give the town its look.

The view is fixed and looks across the basin. Depending on the tide, the harbour is either full of water or drained to grey mud, with small boats resting on the harbour bed.
