Annie Sweetery Live, Koh Samui Cam

Annie Sweetery is a café by the Thong Krut pier, on the southern coast of Koh Samui in Thailand, and its terrace is in frame. It covers the counter and the cake display, with the tables and the open front onto the street behind them.

Thong Krut is a fishing village rather than a resort strip: longtail boats leave the pier for the small islands offshore, and the road behind the café carries local traffic. The southern coast has no long beach, so this side of the island stays quieter than Chaweng or Lamai.

Of the Samui cameras here this is the only one pointed indoors, at a working counter rather than at the sea. It is busiest in the morning and late afternoon, and the light in the room changes as the sun moves round the open front.
