Kenting Archway, Hengchun Live Cam

The camera watches a wide traffic-light intersection beside the Kenting archway on Kenting Road in Hengchun, Pingtung County. Yellow bollards, a green-painted crosswalk and bike lane and road signs fill the foreground, with wooded hills behind.

The Kenting archway is a landmark on Kenting Road, in the resort area at the southern tip of Taiwan. Road signs at the junction point the way to a parking area and to Sheding Park further up the hill.

This is a close view of the crossing itself rather than of a street lined with shops, so the activity is cars, tour buses and scooters at the signals and pedestrians on the painted lane. At night the junction is lit by street lamps and signal lights.
