Safaa Golf Club Bird Feeder, Thuwal Live Cam

Safaa Golf Club lies inside King Abdullah University of Science and Technology on the Red Sea coast, about 80 kilometres north of Jeddah. Parts of the course are protected, and its lakes and greenery give birds water and cover in arid surroundings. More than 240 bird species have been recorded on the campus, which lies on a migration route along the Red Sea.

The fixed camera sits close to the feeder: the upper tray with its raised back board fills the middle of the frame, and the long lower tray runs below it. Birds landing on either level are seen at close range against the shrubs. After dark the picture turns black and white.
