Mansur the Bear's Cage, Vorotynsk Live Cam

This camera at the home of Mansur the brown bear in Vorotynsk faces a barred pen built against a grey steel container. In front of it lie a yard covered in fallen leaves, a mesh gate, a row of buckets and a short wooden boardwalk.

The compound sits on the Oreshkovo airfield at the edge of Vorotynsk in the Kaluga region. Mansur, a male bear born in early 2016, spent his first years at an airfield in the Tver region, where pilots took him in as a small cub. His keepers later moved him here and fenced off a plot of forest for him.

Unlike the views of the open forest plot and the pool, this angle stays on one enclosed corner: the green bars, the container wall with a no-smoking sign and a gate with a small Russian flag. At night the scene turns black and white under infrared light.
