Villa Penasco, Mexico Live Cam

Land's End closes the view from the Pedregal hillside at Cabo San Lucas, at the southern tip of Baja California. The camera looks over the rocks and the Pacific from a villa terrace.

The arch cut through the granite at the end of that point is where the Pacific meets the Gulf of California. A beach on the gulf side is calm enough to swim; the one directly behind it on the ocean side has a rip that has drowned people, and the pair are named accordingly.

Sea lions haul out on the rocks below the arch, and the water off the point drops into a submarine canyon within a few hundred metres of the shore. Cruise ships anchor out in the bay because the harbour is too small to take them.
