Koen-dori Street Live Cam

Koen-dori runs downhill through Shibuya, lit by shopfronts and street lamps in this night view from above. Tail lights queue along the middle of the road.

The street links Shibuya station with Yoyogi Park and the NHK broadcasting centre at the top of the slope, which is where its name comes from. Department stores and clothing shops line both sides of it.

Pavements stay busy until the last trains around midnight, and the webcam keeps a usable picture on shop lighting alone. Once the shutters come down, the frame is left to traffic.
