Pantura Route Trengguli, Central Java Live Cam

Loaded lorries swing through the Trengguli junction on the north coast road of Java, the main freight artery of Indonesia. Painted cabs and canvas-topped trailers make up most of what passes the camera.

The road is Jalan Nasional 1, known everywhere as the Pantura. It runs along the northern shore through Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java and East Java, and forms part of Asian Highway 2.

This junction sits in Trengguli village, in the Wonosalam subdistrict of Demak Regency, Central Java. Traffic never really stops, and it multiplies in the weeks around Idul Fitri, when millions of people travel home along this coast.
