Arc 1950 Village, Les Arcs Live Cam

The main street of Arc 1950, a purpose-built village in the Les Arcs ski area of Savoie, runs below this webcam. Wooden chalet blocks line both sides of the snow-covered street, and the slope rises directly behind the rooftops.

The village was built from 2003 onwards by the company behind Whistler in Canada, laid out as a single car-free street with the lifts at either end. It sits at 1,950 metres in the Paradiski area, which links Les Arcs with La Plagne by cable car across the valley.

The altitude keeps the snow reliable from December through April. Out of season the same street is used by walkers and mountain bikers, and the balconies stand empty.
