Araggio, San Gavino di Carbini Live Cam

The camera looks out over wooded hills from the hamlet of Araggio in San Gavino di Carbini, in the south of Corsica. A narrow strip of sea shows on the horizon beyond the low ridges.

Araggio is a hamlet of San Gavino di Carbini in the Corse-du-Sud department, a few kilometres north of Porto-Vecchio. The camera stands at about 120 metres among oak and pine woods with scattered houses. Nearby, the Bronze Age fortress of Castellu d'Araghju sits on a rocky promontory above the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio.

The fixed view looks out from above the treetops. A tiled roof shows among the trees at the lower left, and a tall pine rises above the canopy in the centre. A forested ridge with masts closes the view on the right, while lower hills fade toward the sea on the left. Much of the frame is sky, so weather and light shape the picture.
