Market Square, Pieksämäki Live Cam

This webcam overlooks the stone-paved market square in the centre of Pieksämäki, a town in Southern Savonia, Finland. It shows the whole square from an upper-floor viewpoint, with the road that curves around it and the shops on the far side.

The market square is the central open space of the town centre, ringed by shops, offices and apartment blocks. A few small kiosks stand on the paving, and across the square is a large furniture store with its car park.

The camera is fixed, so the frame always shows the same stretch of the square: office blocks on the left, a brick and white apartment building on the right and open paving in between. It shows how busy the town centre is and how cars move and park along the road in front of the square.
