Westmorland Street Bridge, NB Live Cam

Four lanes of traffic cross the Westmorland Street Bridge over the Saint John River at Fredericton, in New Brunswick. Ramps and the far bank fill the top of the frame.

The bridge links the city centre with the Southside and opened in the early 1980s, taking the through traffic off the older crossings. It was rebuilt and widened again in the 2000s.

The river is broad and slow here, and the spring breakup regularly puts water into low-lying streets on both banks. Several cameras cover the deck, and the label in the corner says which one is on air.
