Navegantes airport serves the coast of Santa Catarina in southern Brazil, and this camera looks along its runway and apron. Aircraft come and go through the day.

The field is the way into Balneário Camboriú, twenty kilometres south, which has the densest cluster of tall buildings in the country. The towers there stand so close to the beach that they put it in shade by mid-afternoon, and the city widened the sand by dredging to push the water further away.

The airport itself is single-runway and handles domestic traffic, mostly from São Paulo and Brasília, with a season that peaks hard in January.
