Sedalia Station is an Amtrak station built by the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Renovations were completed in 2011 after the depot, built in 1886, had closed in the 1970s. The train facilities are part of Katy Trail State Park, which follows 240 miles (390 kilometres) of the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway route.
