Roswell Main Street and Veterans Memorial Park Live Cam

This live webcam watches the crossing of Main Street and Fifth Street in downtown Roswell, New Mexico. It sits on a balcony one floor above the pavement and looks down on the wide asphalt junction.

Roswell is a small city on the plains of southeastern New Mexico. The block of green across the street is Veterans Memorial Park, a shaded square of tall cottonwoods and memorial stones, and the low buildings behind it belong to the Chaves County courthouse complex. Main Street runs north to south through the frame and carries most of the through traffic in town. A taller cream-coloured office block closes off the view to the east.

Because the camera looks slightly down from above street level, the moving traffic and the quiet park behind it appear in the same shot.
