Veteran's Bridge, Polson Live Cam

Polson sits at the south end of Flathead Lake in Montana, where the Flathead River leaves the lake and runs on toward the Clark Fork. The webcam looks west along Main Street to the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

US 93 crosses the river here, which makes this junction the through route for everything moving between Missoula and the Flathead valley. The lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi.

The town lies inside the Flathead Indian Reservation, home of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, who in 2015 took over operation of the dam at the outlet — the first tribal ownership of a major hydroelectric dam in the country.
