Long Bay, East End Live Cam

Calm blue water of Long Bay on the East End of Saint John stretches toward a long ridge on the far shore. The camera looks west from just above the shoreline, through coastal shrubs, with a rocky wooded point at the left edge.

Long Bay lies on the western side of the East End peninsula, the part of Saint John that closes Coral Bay on the east. Scattered houses dot the hills on the opposite side of the water, and a reddish rocky headland at the right edge breaks the line of the far shore.

Unlike the high viewpoints around Coral Bay, this one is almost level with the water, so the horizon sits low and the sky fills the upper half. Green bushes and a palm crown fill the foreground, and a thin strip of beach shows at lower left.
