Climbers Run Bird, Pennsylvania Live Cam

Feeders hang from a sycamore at Climbers Run Nature Preserve in southern Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The webcam sits a metre or two away, close enough that a cardinal fills a quarter of the frame.

Cardinals, red-bellied woodpeckers, chickadees, titmice and finches work the feeders in rotation through the day. Winter is busiest, when natural food runs out and the tray is worth the risk of being in the open.

The preserve is one of dozens held by the Lancaster Conservancy across Lancaster and York counties. Climbers Run, the creek the place is named for, was restored to hold native brook trout and runs through the woods behind the feeders.
