Kohanaiki Oceanfront Lawn, Kona Live Cam

This fixed camera looks across a manicured lawn with a volleyball net toward the Pacific shoreline at Kohanaiki, Kona. Tall coconut palms and low coastal trees frame the view, with surf breaking on the rocks beyond.

Kohanaiki lies on the North Kona coast of the island of Hawaii, a few miles north of Kailua-Kona. The shore here is dark volcanic rock broken by pockets of pale sand, and nearby Kohanaiki Beach Park is known locally as Pine Trees. This leeward side of the island is among its drier and sunnier stretches.

In the foreground a flat lawn holds a volleyball net and a small soccer goal, with a low rustic fence and a strip of sand before the rocky coast. The view stays fixed, so changes come from sunlight, passing clouds and wind in the palm crowns.
