Coral Bay Overlook, Bordeaux Mountain Live Cam

Palm fronds frame a long panorama of Coral Bay on Saint John, with the mountains of the British Virgin Islands lining the horizon. The camera sits high on the slope of Bordeaux Mountain and looks out over the harbor toward the east end of the island.

Bordeaux Mountain is the highest point on Saint John. From this height the harbor shrinks to a small basin, and wooded peninsulas step out toward open water in the middle distance. The hills across the water belong to the British Virgin Islands, so the view takes in two territories at once.

The village is almost hidden from here, so the picture is about distance and layers of land rather than boats and rooftops. Palm leaves fill the right foreground, and low clouds often drift over the hills on the far side.
