Carmel Amphitheater, Indiana Live Cam

Center Green is the open space in front of the arts centre at Carmel, a suburb on the north side of Indianapolis. The webcam looks across the lawn and the steps of the amphitheatre.

The complex behind holds three venues of different sizes, from a concert hall down to a black box studio, and the green works as a fourth: concerts run on the amphitheatre through the summer and a rink is laid over the same ground in winter.

The district around it was built as a centre for a town that never had one. Carmel grew as a low-density commuter suburb and pushed a walkable core into the middle of itself in the 2000s, with flats over shops and the car parks hidden behind them.
