Malika Beach Club Live, Bangrak Cam

A beach club pool sits above the sand at Bangrak, on the north-eastern corner of the island of Ko Samui in Thailand. The camera looks over the loungers and the water.

The strait in front is shallow and sheltered, which makes this a swimming beach rather than a surfing one, and the ferries to Ko Pha Ngan run from the pier at the end of it.

The gilded Buddha on the islet a few hundred metres along the shore has been there since 1972, twelve metres high on a plinth, and is visible from aircraft landing at the island airport. The beach is usually named after it.
