Lamai Walking Street, Koh Samui, view 2 Live Cam

Had Lamai Road runs behind the second of the resort beaches on Ko Samui, on the eastern side of the island. The webcam looks along the traffic from above the shopfronts.

The road closes on Sunday evenings and the stalls go up down the middle of it. Outside that one night the street is ordinary: shops, bike hire and the traffic between the beach and the ring road.

At the southern end of the beach are two rock formations that every visitor is taken to see, named grandfather and grandmother and shaped accordingly. Lamai is quieter than Chaweng up the coast and has been trading on the difference for years.
