ShopVille - Zürich Hauptbahnhof Live Cam

The approach tracks of Zürich Hauptbahnhof run below this webcam, at the largest railway station in Switzerland. Trains stand on the fan of tracks below the lens, with the city and the wooded ridge above it in the background.

The station handles up to 2,900 train movements a day across surface and underground platforms, with services to Germany, Austria, France and Italy alongside the domestic network. Beneath the concourse runs the ShopVille shopping level that connects the two.

Swiss timetabling works on a clock-face pattern, so trains arrive in waves on the hour and half hour and the tracks empty in between. The station stands where the Sihl joins the Limmat at the edge of the old town.
