Fusion Cafe Apelsin, Yalta, Crimeia Live Cam

A cafe on a pier at Yalta looks along the seafront of the town, on the southern coast of the Crimean peninsula. The camera faces east towards the terminal and the promenade.

The mountains behind rise to Ai-Petri at just over 1,200 metres and shelter the shore from the north, which is why the strip below them grows cypress and magnolia and everything a few kilometres inland does not.

Chekhov moved here in 1898 for his lungs and built a white house above the town, where he wrote The Cherry Orchard and Three Sisters. The house is kept as he left it and the garden he planted is still there.
