Maxi Mall, Khabarovsk Live Cam

A shopping centre and a crossroads take up the view in the middle of Khabarovsk, in the Russian Far East. The camera looks down on the traffic and the car park.

The district is named after the engineering works beside it. Khabarovsk was built up as an industrial and administrative centre for the whole of the far east, and the plants along this side of the city are what most of the housing was put up for.

The climate is monsoonal and extreme: dry and clear at minus twenty for months, then humid and wet in July and August when the rain comes off the Pacific. The Amur, a few streets west, freezes solid enough to drive on.
