Marina do Funchal, Madeira island Live Cam

This live webcam shows the surroundings of Funchal on Madeira Island, Portugal. It looks out over Santa Catarina Park (Parque de Santa Catarina) and Avenida do Infante, the La Vie shopping centre, and, up the hill, the 17th-century Fortress São João Baptista do Pico.

The view also takes in the waterfront Avenida Sá Carneiro and the roundabout where it meets Avenida do Mar, the main avenue where the Carnival and Flower parades take place. You can see a close-up of the Sé Cathedral, a National Monument since 1910, and the Palácio de São Lourenço, Funchal's first fortress, built between 1529 and 1540. There is also a glimpse of the People's Square (Praça do Povo), one of the city's main gathering places, and the marina with its yachts and tourist vessels, boat tours, and the Funchal pier.
