Marka, Norway Live Cam

The Marka live HD webcam shows the landscapes of the Marka region from several vantage points, including the Holmenkollbakken ski jumping hill in Holmenkollen and other parts of Oslo County such as Brovoll, Oslofjorden, Sørkedale, and Kikut, Norway. From the ski jump tower, which stands about 425 metres above sea level, the view takes in the Marka forest area and the arena below.

The Holmenkollbakken ski jump and its facilities were rebuilt for the 2011 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and have hosted many international competitions since. Holmenkollen is a well-known venue for winter sports and was part of the 1952 Winter Olympics. The site is one of Norway's most popular attractions and includes the Holmenkollen Jump Tower, a ski simulator, and the Ski Museum, the world's oldest museum on the history of skiing, which goes back 4000 years.
