Lucky Fish Lounge, Bingin Beach, Bali Live Cam

The reef at Bingin Beach breaks below this view, on the Bukit peninsula at the southern tip of Bali in Indonesia. Sets break along the shallow reef in front of the lens, and surfers sit waiting between them close to the inside.

Bingin is reached by a stairway down the cliff, and the strip of sand at the bottom is narrow and disappears almost entirely at high tide. Warungs and small guesthouses are built into the rock face above the beach, and the cliffs of Dreamland and Impossibles run away to either side.

The wave works best on a mid to low tide, which is when the reef shows and the line-up fills. Late in the afternoon the sun drops straight down the coast and the water in front of the camera turns silver.
