Vouliagmeni, Greece Live Cam

Vouliagmeni is a coastal suburb on the Athens riviera, about twenty kilometres south of the centre of the city. The camera looks west over the Saronic Gulf.

The lake behind the headland is the reason people know the name. It is the roof-fall of a cave system, filled with brackish water that comes out of the rock at between twenty-two and twenty-nine degrees all year; divers have followed the passages under the hill for several kilometres and not found the end.

The coast road out to Cape Sounion runs along this shore past a string of beaches and marinas. The pine-covered spur on the left of the view is Kavouri.
