Skiathos Island, Greece Live Cam

Skiathos town wraps around a harbour on the south side of the island, with the wooded Bourtzi headland dividing it in two. The camera turns across the roofs, the port and the islets offshore.

The airport is at the end of the same bay, its runway laid between the sea and a lagoon, with an approach that brings aircraft in low over the road. People come and stand at the fence to watch them land.

Bourtzi was a fortified islet, joined to the town by a causeway, and now holds a school building and an open-air theatre. Ferries from the port work the rest of the Sporades and the mainland at Volos.
