Loggos Harbour, Paxos Live Cam

Loggos is the smallest of the three harbours on Paxos, a low green island lying south of Corfu in the Ionian Sea. Fishing boats and day boats moor stern-to along the quay in front of the camera.

The tall stone shell above the waterfront is a derelict soap factory. Paxos once pressed enough olive oil to support industry of its own, and olive groves still cover most of the island, many of the trees several centuries old.

There is no airport and no real road network worth the name, so arrivals come by ferry from Corfu or Igoumenitsa. The village has a handful of tavernas along the water and a small beach at the edge of the frame.
