This webcam shows the Stena Line ferry terminal at the Port of Kiel, Germany. It is one of the main ports in the Baltic Sea region, used by cruise ships and by ferries to Norway, Sweden and Lithuania.

About 90 km north of Hamburg, Kiel is the capital and largest city of Schleswig-Holstein, with over 245,000 inhabitants, and is one of the main maritime hubs in Northern Europe. Its notable sights include St Nicholas' Church (Nikolaikirche), the Laboe Naval Memorial, the German submarine U‑995, the Kiel Opera House, the Zoological Museum of Kiel University, the Kiel Canal and the Kieler Förde.
