San Antonio Port, Chile Live Cam

The container terminal at San Antonio lies below this view, at the busiest port in Chile, in the Valparaíso region. Gantry cranes line the quay, a cruise ship lies alongside, and tugs work in the water below the lens.

San Antonio handles more containers than any other Chilean port, moving fruit, copper and manufactured goods, and its terminals run day and night. The fishing fleet works out of the same bay, and cruise calls come through the southern summer.

Pacific swell and fog off the cold Humboldt current are the two things that interrupt work here. The stream is provided by a local television channel.
