Osoyoos Lake, British Columbia Live Cam

Osoyoos Lake lies at the southern end of the Okanagan valley in British Columbia, on the border with the United States. The webcam looks over the water and the hills.

This is the driest country in Canada. The valley is the northern tip of the sagebrush desert that runs up from Mexico, with under 300 millimetres of rain a year, and the lake is the warmest in the country in summer.

The slopes on either side are planted with vines and orchards under irrigation. The winery on the eastern shore, opened in 2002 by the Osoyoos Indian Band, was the first owned and run by an Indigenous community in North America.
