Canmore Nordic Centre, Canmore Live Cam

The Canmore Nordic Centre lies below this webcam in the Bow Valley of Alberta, in the Canadian Rockies. A line of national flags stands along the stadium fence, with snow-covered trails behind and the peaks of the Three Sisters above.

The centre was built for the cross-country events of the 1988 Winter Olympics and is now the training base for the national cross-country and biathlon teams. The trail network runs up the slope behind the stadium in view.

Racing and training fill the stadium through the winter, and in summer the same trails carry mountain bikes. The mountains behind are in cloud as often as they are clear.
