Georgi Izmirliev Square, Gorna Oryahovitsa Live Cam

This camera overlooks Georgi Izmirliev Square, the paved pedestrian plaza in the center of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria. The fixed high view takes in a roundabout and a pedestrian crossing in the foreground and the Maxx Central building across the square.

Gorna Oryahovitsa is a town in Veliko Tarnovo Province in northern Bulgaria, with about 27,000 residents at the 2021 census. The square is named after Georgi Izmirliev, who is commemorated by a memorial bust close to this spot. The plaza is paved in orange and grey bands, with flower beds, benches and broad steps.

From this height the whole plaza, the road curving along its edge and the wooded hills behind the apartment blocks are visible at once. Pedestrians crossing the paved area and cars passing along the road give a steady sense of how this part of town is used.
