I-35 & S18th Street, Waco Live Cam

Interstate 35 runs through Waco in central Texas, and this camera looks down on the lanes from a bridge at South 18th Street. The traffic is mostly through traffic.

A third of the entire length of this interstate is in Texas, and the stretch between Dallas and Austin has been under construction for the better part of two decades as it is widened.

Waco has one claim that surprises people: Dr Pepper was mixed in a drugstore here in 1885, a year before Coca-Cola, which makes it the oldest of the major American soft drinks. The old bottling plant is a museum.
