RCVR, R/V Taani, Louisiana Live Cam

This live webcam shows views of the Regional Class Research Vessels being built by Oregon State University at Gulf Island Shipyards in Houma, Louisiana. The stream includes different perspectives of the three vessels under construction.

The project is part of the University-Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) and is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The first vessel, R/V Taani, will operate from Oregon State University on the West Coast. The second vessel, R/V Narragansett Dawn, will be operated by the University of Rhode Island. The third ship, R/V Gilbert R. Mason, will be operated by the University of Southern Mississippi and the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium.
