Little Italy Mulberry St, NY Live Cam

Mulberry Street runs away from this webcam through Little Italy, in Lower Manhattan in New York City. Restaurant terraces run along the left of the street under white awnings, and delivery vehicles work their way past them.

Italian immigrants settled these blocks from the 1880s, and although the neighbourhood has shrunk to a few streets as Chinatown grew around it, the restaurants and the Feast of San Gennaro each September keep it going. The camera sits above a cigar shop on the block.

During the feast the street closes to traffic and fills with stalls end to end. On ordinary days the outdoor seating is the main thing in the frame.
