Hyland Hills Ski, Minnesota Live Cam

The slope at Hyland Hills climbs away from this webcam, at a ski area inside a park reserve in Bloomington, Minnesota. Skiers ride a surface lift on the right, and the jumps of the terrain park run down the middle of the hill.

The vertical drop is small — this is a city hill rather than a mountain — but it runs nine runs, a large terrain park and a race training programme, all on machine-made snow. It is one of three ski areas inside the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Floodlights keep it open into the evening, which is when most of the traffic comes. The season runs from December to March and depends entirely on cold nights for snowmaking.
