Frisco, Texas Live Cam

Frisco stretches north below this view, a fast-growing suburb about forty kilometres from downtown Dallas, in Texas. Office towers stand in the middle distance, and the Dallas North Tollway crosses the frame in front of them.

Frisco had about thirty thousand people in 2000 and has more than two hundred thousand now, built out across flat prairie in two decades. Corporate offices, the training complex of the Dallas football team and a run of shopping centres line the tollway in view.

Summer heat puts a haze over the middle distance, and spring storm fronts cross the frame from the west. The same experience centre runs a second camera aimed at the airport towers.
