Arbor Park Adams, NY Live Cam

Arbor Park sits at the crossroads in the village of Adams, in the north country of New York state, near Lake Ontario. The webcam looks over the green and the junction beside it.

The village is on the western edge of Tug Hill, a plateau that takes more snow than anywhere else east of the Rockies: cold air crossing Lake Ontario picks up moisture and drops it inland, five or six metres in an ordinary winter and considerably more in a bad one.

Almost nobody lives on the plateau itself. The villages sit around its rim, and the interior is forest and swamp used for logging and snowmobiling.
