Kaohsiung Airport, Taiwan Live Cam

Kaohsiung International lies in the Siaogang district on the southern edge of the city, in the south of Taiwan. The webcam looks across the field at the runway and the terminals.

The airport is boxed in. A single east-west runway of about three kilometres, hemmed by the city on one side and the port on the other, limits it to shorter routes; the long-haul traffic goes north to Taipei instead.

Kaohsiung is the largest port in Taiwan and handled more containers than almost anywhere in the world through the 1990s. The airport works mainly the routes to Japan, Korea and south-east Asia.
