Unity Square Live Cam

This live webcam shows Unity Square (Vienības laukums) in the centre of Cēsis, Latvia. At its centre stands the Monument of Victory, an obelisk raised in memory of the Latvian and Estonian soldiers who fought in the battles for Latvia's freedom, carrying the inscription "From the sword the sun rose." The golden ball at the top stands for Latvia's "sun of freedom."

Unity Square is the newest square in Cēsis and is surrounded by cafés, a hotel and other buildings, as well as the nearby May Park (Maija parks). To look around Cēsis, scroll down the page to use our map.
