Hiroshima Railway Station Live Cam

Hiroshima Station and the building work along its southern side lie below this webcam, in western Japan. A Shinkansen set stands on the viaduct in the middle of the frame, with cranes over the construction site beside it.

The station is the main stop on the Sanyo Shinkansen between Osaka and Fukuoka and the hub of the city's rail and tram network. The whole southern forecourt has been rebuilt so that the tram line runs into the station building itself rather than stopping short of it.

Because of the work, the frame changes from month to month: hoardings move, structures go up, tracks are relaid. The overlay is that of the Japanese broadcaster running the camera.
