Siyono Roundabout, Playen Live Cam

A wide view of the Siyono roundabout in Playen, Gunungkidul, with a tall lime-kiln monument on its central island. Motorbikes and cars circle the island while shops with colourful signboards line the far side of the junction.

The roundabout lies in Logandeng village, Playen district, on the main road between Yogyakarta and Wonosari. Its central tower is the Tugu Tobong Gamping, which recalls the traditional kilns once used to burn lime in the limestone hills of Gunungkidul. Low hills covered with trees rise behind the roofs.

This is a fixed view from one entrance of the roundabout: a red-roofed house and the shop row fill the background, and yellow lamp posts line the pavement at the lower right. A zebra crossing marks the road on the right-hand side. A second view of the same roundabout is zoomed in on one crosswalk.
